ABOUT PERVANEH.
Pervaneh is a registered Irish artist. She is granted tax exempt status by the Irish State on the basis that her work is recognised as having cultural and artistic merit.
Born in Dublin, she studied art at NCAD Kildare Street in the 1960's. Pervaneh then worked in a small design and print studio in Dublin, after which she taught art in both Armagh and Dublin. She took part in various charity exhibitions around that time, and as a result a lot of commissioned work followed.
In the early 1980's Pervaneh moved to Yorkshire England, where she continued to paint and teach. Commissioned by Wakefield District Council, some of her paintings now hang in Wakefield City Town Hall.
Returning to Dublin in the mid 1990's Pervaneh continued painting and teaching.
She has sold paintings through the Fine Art auction houses of James Adams Dublin, Morgan O Driscoll Cork, Mullens Laurel Park Dublin , and Gormley's Art Auctions in Omagh, Belfast, and Dublin.
Her work is presently on display in the Balla Ban Gallery, Westbury Mall, Grafton Street, Dublin.
She exhibits regularly at The Peoples Art exhibition, Stephens Green,Dublin..
Specialising in watercolour, Pervaneh paints Personal Portraits in monochrome using the colour sepia. She also paints Irish Landscape Miniatures and takes commissions for Pet & Personal Portraits.
Pervaneh also paints Rural Ireland Scenes in oils.
